-James Camerons 'Dark Angel' celebrated its 20th anniversary a couple months ago and would introduce Jessica Alba and Jensen Ackles to the world.

-Dark Angel was inspired by the Y2k conspiracy where the world would end at midnight 2000 with technology crashing due to the year change. It centered around a genetically enhanced superhuman prototype, Max Guevara, who, as a child, escaped from a covert government military facility along with 11 others who were all being raised and trained to be super-soldiers. Max battles corruption in post-apocalypse America and searches for her genetically enhanced brothers and sisters, all of whom were scattered in the aftermath of their escape.

-Ironically enough, the show is set 2019 and went through 2021 and featured a diverse cast that included an out and proud lesbian character, Original Cindy, and even had an episode that centered around Max's boss proudly dating a transwoman.

-The show would run from 2000-2002 on FOX before being renewed for a 3rd season only to be canceled 72 hours later the day of Upfronts as the network decided it would rather go forward with Joss Whedons 'Firefly' that would last 1 season and couldn't afford both shows.

-It originally aired on Tuesdays where it was a ratings winner even though it was during the days where FOX shows would go on random hiatus and be preempted due to news/sports/awards shows. For whatever reason the network moved the show to Friday where it was a death slot and ratings took a nosedive.

-A video game even was made when it was cool for tv shows to get adapted to gaming (Xena, Buffy were among other tv shows that got the video game treatment)

-Jessica Alba famously dated and got engaged to her co-star Michael Weatherly during the shows run but the two would break up.
