*By the grace of God, Netflix decided to cancel Kenya Barris’ #blackAf.
* This comes a year after Netflix’s decision to renew the show.
* Might come back as a movie but probably not
* Kenya apparently exited his $100 million Netflix deal back in January for a deal with ViacomCBS. I saw the news about this cuz Kenya went on record today saying Netflix was the new CBS. He’s interested in stuff too highbrow and edgy for Netflix apparently…okay. He got equity in BET via this deal.
*#blackAF and Astronomy Club were his two Netflix projects.
