Vin Diesel Explains The Rock Feud: I Gave ‘Tough Love’ to Get His Acting ‘Where It Needed to Be’

Jun 22, 2021 14:39

Vin Diesel says his feud with The Rock originated because he wanted The Rock’s acting to improve: “We had to get there and sometimes, I could give a lot of tough love. Not Felliniesque but I would do anything I’d have to do in order to get performances in anything I’m producing.” pic.twitter.com/XM1XChUB2g

They’re stupid fun (especially now) and their ride at Universal is great lol

I tried...and they literally make no sense what so ever. It has deviated from the original first few movies that I was shook, lol.

They're ridiculously fun. I was thinking of why I like them so much, and came up with this: At one point in the movie, there is a moment so absolutely ridiculous that you start laughing...and laughing increases endorphins and relieves stress and all that good stuff. As long as you don't take it seriously and go in to "have fun".

This is LITERALLY the scene that comes to mind. How you can not watch this and start laughing and then start feeling good is beyond me. This scene is amazing. It deserved an award for "Making People Laugh and Feel Good."

I just started watching them and agree they are mindless fun. The plots make no sense and it's all just vibes. I've fallen asleep while watching two of them and been like "oh well on to the next one!" because it's not like I missed something important.

I only got into them after they properly went off the rails tbh - I never got into it because it just seemed like douchey men and gratuitous ass shots but really it was when Charlize and Helen Mirren joined that I was like, really?

Also they have a genuinely diverse leading cast and I do really appreciate that as well

honestly, the first one is actually a good movie, not just tolerable action (IMO! i have been known to love trash) I also think the third movie is objectively fun.

Honestly this gif kinda makes me wish we'd gotten that Brian/Letty/Dom love triangle that Michelle Rodriguez supposedly begged them to write out out of the script.
