I genuinely don't get how he's survived this. He doesn't seem to be a big enough name for DC to protect.

This is unfortunately it. The vast majority would have no clue who he is by name or face.

I mean, protecting scandal survivors is the rule and ousting them is the exception, so I am not shocked at all they didn’t recast. Like it takes Kevin Spacey accusations to really studio change and that was like after decades. Johnny Depp only got canned because he couldn’t stop bringing attention to himself and was a set liability.

I’m sure Disney is still going to at some point release Death of the Nile with Armie in it. They’re just waiting for another scandal to take the heat. See also West Side Story and Ansel Elgort.
