the problem with most holidays are that most people still work. If its not easter, thanksgiving (barely), and xmas, most things run as usual.

Yup. I only get three holidays off a year, thanksgiving, Christmas, and new years day.

We only get two, Christmas and thanksgiving, but those are still regular work days. Nobody is scheduled and you are payed your regular pay. You have to sign up to work. I work for an airline. We are never closed.
