Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal, and LaKeith Stanfield are set to star in Foe, a grounded, philosophical sci-fi thriller directed by Garth Davis (Lion). The film is based on a book of the same name by Ian Reid, who cowrote the script with Davis.
Foe is set in the near future and is about a married couple (Ronan and Mescal) living on a remote farm whose lives are thrown in turmoil when a stranger (Stanfield) arrives. The film is set to begin shooting early next year in Australia.
