the way people would talk about this back in the day like 'OH, BEY IS JUST EXTRA! HE LOOKS FINE!' as if this wasn't a charity concert and AS IF straight (often white) men don't get away with looking like shit for EVERYTHING onstage while female counterparts have to be perfect. UGH, STILL MAD ABOUT IT

It was a day long festival. His set was before Jay’s and Beys (it was the last stop of the On The Run 2 Tour).
I imagine he didn’t get the memo of what she would be wearing when he joined her, so he just kept whatever he had on during his set. I guess he should have worn a bright yellow suit or something 🤷‍♂️

I hate that I agree but it's a look. I don't like the look but this sat in a makeup chair, had someone style his hair and put on a stagewear costume. It is the least he can do as a pop star.
