I think it's obvious that aliens exist. It seems too "self centered" to believe in this GIANT ASS universe that the happenings that led to living creatures couldn't have happened other places too. That being said not sure how space travel would work for them cause I mean look at us, we're not going anywhere all that fast lol

Also, if they are more advanced than us/have figured out space travel, who's to say they even want anything to do with us? I tend to believe they do a drive by every hundred/few hundred years or so, to see if we've gotten our shit together, see we haven't, and continue on. Because, I believe if they are a species who has been able to figure out space travel, that they'd either be war lords, and would've taken over ages ago, or are like my first option presented. Or, like us, they haven't yet figured it out, and if they haven't, guess we just have to wait and see who does first and what comes of it all.

I mean, there are scientists who devote their entire lives to studying one specific species of ant that lives in the middle of nowhere, so I don't think it's that weird to think that super-advanced aliens would be interested in humans!

But I imagine if they know we exist, they are interested in us from a distance, and don't actually want anything to do with us.

The known universe alone is so unfathomable in size that they are out there for sure, but how would we ever make contact
