I honestly hated the first movie, it had so many frustrating plot holes. I wonder if the second one is worth watching or if it'll just make me mad again oregkrt

Oh no! Dumb decisions was what ruined the first one for me. I can only suspend my belief so far

I just saw the second one and I thought it was really solid, almost as good as the first one. But I don't really think too hard about plot holes or the universe that it's set in. These movies are more so about the characters' personal journeys as they try to navigate the terrifying world they're in. The story in these movies are more about the characters than they are about the external drama/action.

Maybe that's why it seems like they didn't put much thought into the action of the plot/logic of it's universe because they put more effort to focus on what's going on with the characters?

They left him in the store by himself as well to get the batteries etc. I could just not look past that. So stupid

I could barely watch the first one due to the plot holes and frustrating decisions. But I did think the second one was a lot better even tho the characters still made dumb decisions at every opportunity. The writing is bad but I just kinda accepted it this time, everything else is good.
