my beloved local indie theater is finally reopening next weekend!!! i'm overjoyed. they set up a virtual cinema and have also done some outdoor screenings but it's just not the same at all. i bought a ticket to see an old film they're showing next weekend but i can't wait until they have some new films booked. i've hardly watched anything new since the pandemic began. i'm just a cinema person. the experience can't be recreated at home. some of these look really interesting, i hope they get Undine in particular.

We watched Cruella...idec, I enjoyed it. And yes, it’s one of Disney’s best live action movies in recent years.

I saw Undine a few months ago via a virtual film festival, and really liked it! I want to check out the other movie that the leads are in together.

We started watching Oslo last night - it has extremely strong "adapted from a play" vibes, and while I like the actors, it was a little slow to start at 9pm, so we turned it off to go to bed about halfway through. We'll definitely finish it, but yeah, don't watch if you're at all sleepy.

We saw all the big new releases last weekend, and I am not a Conjuring fan, so we don't have any weekend movie plans other than a screening of Blade Runner on Sunday. Hoping that something else will come up, though!

Maybe I’ll try The Real Thing for Win or maybe not it looks kind of dark...
