Yeah, it's not clear if they all turned it down bc of his behavior. His big bag of bullshit didn't bother JLaw before.

I'm with you because actors don't turn down opportunities to work with directors who routinely get themselves and their stars, award nominations. Even if they're abusive.

Yep. Woody Allen is the best example of that. It was the in-thing to sign up for his films because of the prestige on your resume and possible awards contender.

DOR doesn't have the same level of clout Allen did so I have no idea why people sign up for him as much.

i remember her telling some story about how during filming she'd get calls from him at literally all hours, middle of the night, whatever, and just laughing it off like it was a cute anecdote...as an actress in Hollywood you'd have some pretty warped ideas about boundaries, maybe she's seen the light finally

Yeah, this wording makes it sound like they all deliberately turned it down specifically bc of that (as if his bullshit isn't old news), but I kinda doubt it. I'm sure he's mad about JLaw, since he seems to have some weird territorial view of her, so that's good.

Right, I officially gave up on her when I found out he was at her wedding when a bunch of people I thought she was pretty tight with weren’t. She probably just had a scheduling conflict. I’m sure she’d jump at the chance to be grossly miscast again in another one of his films.
