June is ready to tear the Waterfords to shreds in court, the others seem a bit worried though because she seems very consumed by her justified anger. We'll see what's going on with Lydia and Janine.

Random thoughts...

Mark is annoying. He is constantly letting Serena manipulate him and it just makes him look incredibly naive and stupid.

The writers continuously trying to make Serena ~complex~ and ~layered~ is a no go for me. She is just as much of a monster as Fred and I want them both to rot.

I like Luke and Moira and the little rapport they’ve developed. Id like to see more of them. And just them.

At this point I’m convinced that the show really doesn’t want us to like June.

I read a theory about Mark playing everyone, and that his actions re: June in the last episode were him deliberately trying to push Fred and Serena together by knowing June would snap at Serena, so that he could use them against each other. But I don't think the writers are smart enough to pull it off. It really does seem like he's letting Serena manipulate him.

That sounds interesting, what would his goal be if he plays everyone?

Kind of really makes Nick smart for being skeptical of governments in that world.

Honestly I am not sure if Mark is trustworthy or not, everytime he shows up I wonder if he'll be exposed as some Gilead spy.

I can give them that Serena is not a flat character, but at the end of it all she is a horrible person and it's not that complex or complicated what she did and how that makes her not redeemable.

I liked how Emily and Oliver and also Rita seemed to be rather close to them too, obviosuly not in on the rapport but they build a nice little group there.

I got the feeling at the end of the episode they we were supposed to realize Mark has actually been manipulating Serena. I hope that’s the case.

Yeah, Serena just needs her comeuppance sooner rather than later, I’m sick of her narcissistic back and forth. And that’s even acknowledging that Yvonne plays her really well. The only time I thought Serena might have had some hope was when she was punished for reading the bible and allowed June to take Holly/Nichole that night, thought she might have had her year of realising things for the better, but sure enough she was back on her bullshit within a few episodes after.

If they give her another moment to realize things it's so too late at this points, I will delete any redemption they could attempt out of my brain immediately.
