June is ready to tear the Waterfords to shreds in court, the others seem a bit worried though because she seems very consumed by her justified anger. We'll see what's going on with Lydia and Janine.

Let me guess. Gilead is gonna threaten her kid AGAIN and she will change her mind about saying anything just as she was about to open her mouth*

* these storylines have been done to death (haven’t seen the last episode yet)

[Spoiler (click to open)]There was a spoiler/review of a 7+ minute monologue that she does, and I think it's when she testifies. Also, there are brief synopses for the remaining episodes now that have a bit new info.

Synopses for episodes 8-10:

[Spoiler (click to open)]Episode 8 "Testimony" - June confronts Fred and Serena in court and challenges Emily to face a painful reminder of her Gilead past. Lawrence presents Aunt Lydia with a newly captured, familiar Handmaid.

Episode 9 "Progress" - June and Luke work together to save Hannah, reaching out to Lawrence and Nick for help. Serena and Fred greet unexpected visitors from Gilead. Janine tries to assist Aunt Lydia when a Handmaid-in-training goes on a hunger strike at the Red Center.

Episode 10 "The Wilderness" - June objects to Fred’s plea bargain agreement and struggles to accept his pending freedom. She draws on all her resources and relationships, risking everything to ensure her own kind of justice.

The absolute ONLY way that Episode 10 can end in a remotely satisfying way for me is if [Spoiler (click to open)]the resources June is talking about are Gilead aka Nick and Lawrence, who capture Fred from Canada and bring him back to Gilead to be put on the wall for treason.

[Spoiler (click to open)]I read in an article with Max Minghella that his favorite scene was the last scene of the season, and what it implies for the future. I have no idea if he's in the scene or what it is though. Also, the book has a bit where a lot of commanders are killed in a purge. So maybe Fred goes back only to have that happen.

[Spoiler (click to open)]That gives me a tiny bit of hope, at least. Maybe Fred goes back willingly (secret plea deal? idk) and Nick, through contact with June, learns about the plea deal he takes & uses it arrest him? hmm.

They could always end up things in a decent way, but have some fucked up gymnastics to get there. The showrunner doesn't believe that Serena is "redeemable" should get to have and keep her baby, though. However that translates into the show.

Not sure if I'd agree on much else with the showrunner but I'd agree that Serene shouldn't get a redemption, I want her to be tried and sentenced and the baby be raised by people that are not as horrible as she is.

I can’t see a way that Fred doesn’t end up dead if he goes back to Gilead. He’s too much of a risk now that he’s been exposed to the US and Canadian governments and he’s done things that are considered crimes in Gilead.

Yeah honestly like I’m ok with the Waterford’s story just being DONE. We don’t need more fuckery for June. Throw them in a hole to rot and focus on Mayday.

Showrunner Miller has had a huge hard-on for the Waterfords, and their so-called "complex villainy".

Same guy was dismayed at how "uninteresting" of a villain Trump turned out to be. Not kidding.
