She’s right. Funny enough I remember thinking movies like The Witch and Midsommar had a better chance at getting nominated at the Oscars since it’s more art house/indie~ styled horror instead of a teen slasher like say Scream.

But NOPE! The Oscars said no horror PERIOD!!
