hopefully this post isn't too messy but i feel her so hard. i'm just exhausted at constantly trying to defend my bi identity, although tbh, when i had a girlfriend, i still had to defend myself too.

Uuuugh. My stepdaughter is bi and when she was 13, got her first girlfriend. Her (shitty shitty) mother forced her to give her the girl's number, then called her parents and told her that their daughters were dating and they had to break up because they were too young.

Then told her daughter that if she dates girls, she'll regret it because no boys will want to date her.

Just so many levels of fucked up from this woman.

Thank you...I really think the situation fucked her up though. She no longer tells anyone anything. She was always shy but now she's totally closed off. On the plus side, we got her a therapist who says she's doing great at therapy and actually calls her with problems, so it's a relief!

Also, I recently found her TikTok (showed up on my fyp, I don't even think she realizes I use TikTok) and she made a video about how she went down on her friend (a girl) and then they all sat down to dinner with her mom. I had to laugh. Fuck you, stepdaughter's mom.

i'm sorry. i keep expecting people to care less and less about this and gender identity but they don't. so i think my generation is a lost cause :(
