-If you haven't heard...ABC has canceled Rebel and the people behind the show are not happy.

-Katey Sagal posted a petition for fans of the show to sign to show how much the series is loved and doesn't understand how ABC was so supportive in the beginning to just cancel it so soon.

-Krista Vernoff went to twitter in a now deleted tweet to show her disdain that ABC would cancel the show after 5 episodes instead of giving the show a fighting chance of finding its footing. She expected the network to treat the show better given the fact that she's inc charge of two of the networks most successful shows (Greys and that firefighter show).

-Rebel currently ranks #12 on the network in over all demo and #8 in overall viewers

-ABCs head of programming defended the networks decision to cancel Rebel halfway into it's freshman run.

-Claims that the network put a giant push in advertising the show and basically expected better viewership because of that.

-They put it on their best night after Greys Anatomy at 10pm

-The show failed to also see significant gains in Live+7 viewership or streaming viewership on Hulu
