IndieWire has expanded its 2017 list of the best comedy films released since 2000, adding 20 films.

The two that come to mind right away for me are “Spy” and “The Nice Guys.” Neither made this list so IMO this list is pretty shit lol

Spy is fantastic. I remember I watched it on a plane and later thought 'Waaait, wasn't there a dick pick scene in cinema?' But it makes sense they'd cut that out for a plane. I haven't trusted any non-PG movie on planes since then.

Spy is sooo good, it's ridiculously funny. I have to watch it whenever it's on TV. Jason Statham is hilarious lmao

Spy is seriously underrated. It's a superior comedy. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
