Watch "He Loves Me...." with Audrey Tatou. It deals with erotomania and is a good (and fucked up) movie. The first half of the movie is from her point of view, and the second half is from what's really happening and you see how delusional she is and how it effects her, her friends, and the object of her affections.

I watched it again last year on YouTube, so if it hasn't been reported the full version might still be up.

I just watched it again! The subtitles on this is a bit raggedy, but you can get the general idea.

OMG! Did she see Audrey on the DVD cover and think "Wow, here's that Amelie woman playing "cute" again!" It's a pretty accurate depiction of erotomania but...High School kids? LOL

lol idk I think it was mostly that I was in a kinda meh iowa public school and the teacher's degree was in spanish so we watched a LOT of movies in general. AP french - more like "AP french film appreciation" if we're being honest.

I love how this film came out a year or so after Amelie :D Way to screw with that sweet picture of her. Or as some reporter put it "... in America she is known for only one, Amélie, in which she played a wide-eyed innocent. Here she is just as wide-eyed, but if she's innocent it's only by reason of insanity."

It's really good, but at the same time very sad? Here you have this extremely talented girl (she's an art student who got a special, hard to get grant from her school to put on a one-person show) who just...deteriotes because of her obsession. The first half of the film you're thinking "This is terrible how dare this married asshole play with this girl's emotions like this" and in the second half you find out that not only is everything you thought you knew about the situation was wrong but it's more complex than you think. Film also does a nice job of showing that this disorder not only affects the person and the object but also her friends, his wife, the people who she is housesitting for, etc.
