"I have no pity for myself in this situation" feels like a first in celebrity apologies.

Yeah, something about him needing to verify it for himself after all the allegations from Franco's acting school rubs me the wrong way. But he went out of his way to test his friend and saw the light. I'm not totally convinced that this is a morality issue and not a financial and reputational decision for him, but it's a start I guess.

At the very least, he's not making excusing for himself in how he saw the situation.

I'm honestly willing to see where Seth goes from here. His responses here were miles better than most.

I've liked a lot of his strong opinions over the last few years, but this is a blatant case of "Please stop asking me about my predatory pal!"
