i'll literally take another graphic novel or a book continuation of next class. i hate that the franchise right now ended on a scene with zaya ngkdljgdg. i'll just keep pretending i'm upset was the real ending.

ia. they don't even have to introduce new characters, just stick with the ones that are around and throw in some cameos from the former cast. and most of them have moved on. maya deserved better than to end up with zig, he was the worst. finally rewatching season 12 - next class in order really opened my eyes to how much he sucks lmao.

ugh, i hate tristan. i liked him when he was introduced, but after season 12, he becomes the worst. he's so callous about maya's trauma. you'd think he'd be more caring because he was friends with cam too, but nope.

I don't know WHAT the fuck the writers thought they were doing with him. Like they thought making him a mean asshole to his friends all the time made him ~sassy~ when no it just made him an asshole. (And I say this as someone who liked him early on in the show too.) Like making it clear he was a victim in his relationship with that teacher (WHICH HE WAS, I'm not disputing that!), while at the same time.... forcing Maya to apologize to him for protecting him????

I also don't get people who say he and Miles were "equally messy" like sure yeah they were at times, but the show constantly called Miles out on it and just gave Tristan a pass because he was gay.

Phew I have a lot of feelings about this still huh lol.

there wasn't one person he cared about more than himself. he was awful to maya, he was awful to zoe, and he was awful to miles. he should have apologized to her especially since he found out he wasn't the only teenage boy his teacher was creeping on.

ia miles's actions often had repercussions, tristan's not so much.
