🤷🏾♀️ Eh, this stuff has been going on in one form or another since humanity conceptually understood there was a universe, so I ain't mad. If this shiz gets a bunch of people thru the day, who am I to be annoyed. It only becomes a problem when you try to sell it or convinced others that you've unlocked some secret.
I'm manifesting a new gig, a condo, and a trip to Tokyo soon tbh
I wouldn't qualify this and QAnon as the same - they may attract similar people, but I think there's a distinct difference between kids sitting in their rooms trying to manifest money to live vs racists and neo-nazis who follow the ideas of some shadow figure online. But we can agree to disagree
Even shit like QAnon starts out innocuously, until it devolves into full on derangement. Look at how many QAnon psychos use “gematria” in their unhinged screeds. This ain’t much different.
My coworker is trying to buy a house and found a cute one but the rooms are too small and I legit was just like fucking knock down a wall and make the rooms bigger and then realized the only reason this felt easy and actionable was because I’ve been spending my free hours building houses in the Sims these days.
Every once in a while, when I’m feeling down and lonely, I say to myself “if only I sent that chain email to 20 people instead of to my alternate email address....maybe I wouldn’t be alone”
Oh god this reminds me at my all girls super strict school the headmistress called me out of class one day and I was terrified that something had happened to my family and it turned out she said I forwarded a chain mail (which I can’t even remember if I did but I don’t think I did!) and apparently that was banned at our school??
