Feds Order Kim Kardashian to Give Back Looted Statue
Kim Kardashian has been told by the feds to relinquish a looted statue that was purchased in her name. The ancient Roman sculpture depicts the bottom half of a woman (shocking). It dates to the 1st or 2nd century, is called "Fragment of Myron's Samian Athena", and it stolen from Italy. Kim purchased it in 2016 from the Axel Vervoordt Gallerly in Belgium.
In a bizarre twist, Kim's reps claim that she never bought the statue:
“Kim never purchased this piece and this is the first that she has learned of its existence. We believe it may have been purchased using her name without authorization and because it was never received, she was unaware of the transaction.”
