The heiress turned 00’s it girl, turned DJ, Paris Hilton, took to TikTok to set the record straight regarding a famous picture of her wearing a tee with the words “stop being poor” that has circulated on the Internet for ages.
She clarified that garment was doctored, with the real words on it being “stop being desperate”, and her never wearing anything similar to the depicted image. She originally wore the real shirt to an event in 2005 in Las Vegas.
