I love your points! <3
I felt like the explanation that Buffy being brought back though and having that significant of an impact made zero sense...Buffy wasn't "the slayer" technically, because Faith was...so why was Buffy the big deal? Idk to me it just didn't make sense.

I agree with you SO MUCH on the Glory portal thing!!! lol.

Well to be fair Faith was in prison for a bit (Season 4-7) so she wasn't out there doing anything. Season 5 & 6 she was locked up and broke out during Season 7.

Not long after the series finale aired there was a leaked draft of the final episode script floating around. Supposedly it was legit, 90% of the dialog and actions were the same but there were some changes.

- Andrew died and Anya lived (this makes sense, and Emma Caulfield has stated she wanted to be killed off in the finale so she could just be done with the show and move on)
- they explicitly state that because Dawn's existence was based on Buffy, she was a slayer all along. Further, it was wedging her into the slayer hierarchy that somehow created a short circuit between her, Buffy, and Faith letting the 'slayer power' be jeopardized and moving The First to act.

Real? I can't swear it. Makes sense? Too much.
