We all have those characters who we just hate. Some for no real reason and some cause they are genuinely the worst. These are mine.

Really showing my age here but Pulaski from Star Trek TNG season 2. Full transparency though I have not watched it in YEARS so I don't know if my hatred of her was really justified lol but I just wanted Crusher back!

A more current one is probably Holden from The Expanse. He has his moments but generally I find him so boring and self-righteous.

I don't think I mind her but because she replaced Bev (who's one of my faves like I LOVE her) she kind of got a raw deal from the start lol

I haven't gone back to The Expanse in forever but i remember not liking Holden either lol

I'll forever be upset about how they wrote Holden in The Expanse. He became one of my favourite book characters because he's just so . . . well, he's still a bit self-righteous, endearingly and dumbly so, like my golden retriever; there's a definite humour to him and I find his sometimes-world weariness hilarious, but they made him so bland in the show. And I feel like Steven Strait could play some of that genuineness quite well so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Last season there was a scene that was Holden in a nutshell:

Fred: “What did you do?”
Holden: “There was a button, I pushed it.”
Fred: “Jesus Christ. That really is how you go through life, isn’t it?”'

Yeah she was a good character but she was Crusher's replacement. She reminded me of McCoy.

I tried SO HARD to like Pulaski, but it was impossible. Especially when she talked to Data. Beverly Crusher is superior in every possible way!
