Jessica simpson was such a harmless, fun popstar and she recieved hate for no reason (well she's a woman so that answers everything) and honestly, I can't say that when i was a kid, i am guilty of thinking she was dumb for chicken comment. But i like her jeans and accessories.

Yeah I watched Newlyweds mostly for the first time several months ago and tbh she wasn't even that dumb. Kind of ditzy, but nothing harmful. Was mainly jealous of how gorgeous she was even without makeup (she hardly ever wore it when she wasn't working) and her cute wardrobe!

ETA: Nick was a total fuck. I didn't realize he was that much older than her. That's significant when people are the ages they were and he totally lorded over her. Douchebag.
