And the brother has to keep them apart???
So I'm supposed to hate two of the main leads initially?
And since it's a rom com, that means the brother and her end up together. YUCK.

I hate rom cons where the viewer is supposed to root for cheaters. There are so many of them!

I'm betting it will be like "My Best Friend's Wedding" and he doesn't do anything but be nice to her but she's more conniving.
For reasons best left to psychologists, it seems like some makers and viewers of rom-coms enjoy seeing women being absolutely awful to other women for the sake of a man who has shown no interest in them anyway.

That's like the majority of rom coms. And to make us root for them they exaggerate the writing for the boyfriend or girlfriend they cheated on. They are often really self-absorbed and awful.

They will probably make his fiancée horrible so you will root for them to get back together.

I hope she wins a house again just like she did in her best film work ever
