i'm a late-arrival fan of the smiths but i have zero interest in morrissey. much like other bands whose music i enjoy but whose frontmen i dislike.

Another huge Smiths fan who despises Morrissey with every fiber of my being. It’s the one and only time I separate the art from the artist. I normally think that’s bullshit but he’s an asshole, not a rapist or a pedo, so I let myself have this one nice thing.

a local club does a yearly dance party called Cryfest and all they play is The Cure/The Smiths 😂
