good 4 him tho, live your truth! coming out is such a difficult experience and while things have gotten better in privileged countries, it's still a scary experience globally. Even though he's a privileged white dude, it's still a hard thing to admit. My BFF was married for years and only recently came out, divorced etc.

the experiences he's going to have with gus on his show are gonna be so sterile and privileged. like it upsets me. like they'll gawk at fisting in a leather bar, but then they'll end up at a circuit party in palm springs and they'll feel so liberated

and good point re: coming out. if it were easy he wouldn't have done a whole season of performative heterosexuality. i think we're moving away from coming out being ~the most powerful thing~ a queer person can do
