She looks so good! I loved her interview answers. She's an introverted self-reflection queen! Hoping we get good music material from her re-discovering her old diaries. But we all know when she said 'months before announcing' = at least 2 years before the albums come out.

It's also interesting to learn that she felt often most insecure when looking back at pics when she was at her most thin. She got a bit scary thin around 2000-2001, but she was also being very over-worked/booked. I remember some people thought she was complaining when she'd voice how she was being over-worked.

Right!

Also to my earlier point -- re: over-booked:

I think I counted 73 (!) booked tour dates from May to Dec 2000.

that shit is insane. it makes a lot of sense now why she did so little touring between b2b and liberation.

on an unrelated note, what ever happened with that song that played during one of the liberation tour interludes? i'm mad it never got released, that album should've gotten a deluxe.

Ugh, yes -- the song is called Wonderland. I need it released in full. There was also a recent leak of a track she recorded pre-Liberation (but didn't make the cut) called Lolita; it sampled the same track Cardi did later for I Like It (which was obvi a big hit). I like it, but it wouldn't have fit with the theme/sound of Liberation, but here is the demo if you're curious and/or haven't heard it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qEZNuntbuU&ab_channel=JakeMills.
