If i was at a strip club and saw Usher promotional material, I'd be kind of confused.

Also if I was a stripper at this club I'd be annoyed that this celeb just walked in and used this as a promo event.

I read up on it some more and my theory is that this “money” was left around to promote his residency. THEN some cheap bastard grabbed it and tried to front with it as real money. Since usher was there & the stripper probably interacted with him, he got the blame for it ending up in her pockets.

Anyway, even if I was paid fairly separately, and I saw him throwing those around, I'd think it was legit and be pretty pissed upon closer inspection. Because it's like, it's almost a fakeout for a tip. Sure, gratuity is up to the customer, but don't leave some fake bill telling me Sunday is Jesus' day and I shouldn't be working lol.

I guess if Usher just left them around the club and the club was aware of this, then there would be no reason to be pissed. Also, the tin foil hat in me thinks she and the club were in on it, and this was also a form of promo. I didn't know Usher was having a Vegas residency. Probably wouldn't have if not for this.
