I haven’t watched this one, but other videos she’s done about tumblr stuff were really interesting. I’ve been on tumblr forever but I missed out on a lot of the weirder stuff like the onceler fandom

while some of her framing of this was okay, she didn't seem to get the migratory slash fandom as a whole nor was she like, considerate of anyone/everyone who was involved. a lot of people pleaded with her not to do this bc the information surrounding everything is so public and survivors who got doxxed during this didn't want a big youtube video about it. she did it anyhow and apparently they were very upset and faced another wave of harassment.

I enjoyed her videos about tumblr culture but she had the most bizarre response to people calling her out for buying a fast fashion version of the strawberry dress and now I have a pointless grudge against her

She basically said that criticizing her was misogyny and that 'there's no ethical consumption under capitalism' means that people can't be held responsible for their consumer choices because participating in the system makes all choices equally bad
