I’m horrified that this was green lit and reading that tweet is honestly so upsetting. People were justifiably angry about that stupid confederate show being developed and bullied HBO out of it, but the fact that this project got passed through and gets on air is so disgusting. There’s so much incredible black stories that are out there by talented screen writers that will never see the light of day but this kind of graphically violent garbage gets represented is rage inducing
