if you want you just need to watch a recap , the 4th season is pretty much stand alone.

You can pretty much look at the cast list, read up on who is connected to whom and watch only season 4. There was some Charles drama in Season 3 that I think set up Season 4 and Diana quite nicely, but it's not necessary.
