Apparently they both refused to do it but J*ss went after the double and in a meeting alone with her, he threatened to make sure she'd never work again if she didn't agree to do it.

yes he did that same joke in Age of Ultron and everyone hated it then too. I think Ray Fisher talked about how Whedon brought the resentment from that film over into shooting Justice League, and that he tried to re-do scenes or beats that he did in AoU

People tried to say it was underrated not even a month ago bc of WandaVision but it only has a few good scenes. It’s badly written and there are some truly dumb character beats (like every character beat is idiotic)

I mean Wanda and Vision are probably the only good things to come out of that movie so I'm wondering if that's why people claimed it was underrated. But it's the only Avengers movie I've only watched once and have no intention of watching again.

Oh and the scene with Steve and Thor's hammer...I guess that was a good moment too.

I saw where someone is trying to push the theory that it was Ruffalo & Johansson's idea, but I don't buy that.

It's really fucking weird that he thinks the whole "guy falls on girls boobs" thing is so great that he reuses it over and over again, even in the 2010s/2020s and even goes hard for it. Like, he had to FIGHT to get it to happen in Justice League. Like, I don't even see that trop in anime much anymore, yet Joss Whedon thinks its the height of comedy and that is embarrassing.
