I think there is a point to made about roles that require a lot of physicality and certainly the skill that stunt people must have (and the risks they take). For example Christian Bale had to look a certain way for American Psycho, and he’s praised for that role.

However none of that really applies to this dude and his movies.

I don't know what that point is. Even at the super low 'auditioning for commercials and one-line roles' level, there's pressure to be going to the gym and have a 'beach body' or whatever euphemism they want to use. Especially if you want to be a leading man of any kind, you have to be ripped. It's unrealistic all around. Even actors playing awkward teenagers have to be ripped. Actors playing nerds have to be ripped. Etc. Etc.
