idk who she is or what kind of YouTuber she is, but whenever a YouTuber is expecting a child, I'm just like, "oh great, this poor baby is just going to be used for views and subscribers." Commodified before they're even out of the womb.

Nothing makes me leave a yt video faster than seeing someone has their kids as props in the videos.

i saw this girl i know write on her insta about how she had a "vision" for her kids outfit that day and she was so glad she had found an item to complete it, and then had shots of her toddler modelling this vision outfit and i was like... i hate this planet

Yeah, I have a friend who's trying to make their baby girl Instagram famous. They have an account for her and they post products they use, stuff like that.

That’s how you know. I have followed plenty of youtubers that mention “oh btw I’m pregnant,” but you wouldn’t know otherwise. They don’t put their children on social media.
