I got emotional seeing the flinstones and yogi bear. I get why people would be turned off by the droogs from clockwork orange being there but I get it from a pop culture POV. I've never seen the movie (but am aware of the content) but I've seen that look (and specifically Alex DeLarge's look) recreated millions of times by other artists/actors.

Whoever handles The Flintstones and The Jetsons branding has really let it slide. When I was a kid growing up in the eighties/early nineties, I remember they still played the cartoons on tv (even though at the time they were from the fifties and sixties, I believe). Even those old Flintstones campgrounds are a mess. I saw the one near the Grand Canyon few years ago and thought it looked like a serial killer hangout. Archie has managed to stay relevant through the decades. It's a shame they couldn't make The Flintstones and The Jetsons appeal to kids today. What kid isn't curious about space or dinosaurs?

Yeah I was thinking how a lot of those cartoons from the 40-80s had a lot of revivals and reboots in the 90s but not so much now.

I LOVED The Jetsons as a kid (fellow 80s baby/kid) but maybe it's for the best I can't watch it on TV now. I feel like all the optimism for "the future" people had then would just make me cry now. Not unlike Back to the Future Part 2.

At the very least, they should be licensing merchandise. I just bought some stuff off Uniqlo and noticed a number of cartoon characters t-shirts (including Snoopy, which is also older). Makes me curious why this is so forgotten.

i have the first name of a character in one of them and i'd kill for merch. i was so happy when i found a funko of her, it's the only one i own. in order to be her for halloween when i was a kid, my grandmother had to make my costume! i actually want to learn how to sew in order to make another one.

We had Australia’s Wonderland in Sydney and they had all the Hannah Barbara characters there. It was amazing
