i haven’t watched the ep yet but the gif!?!?!? is what i think is happening there happening!?!?!? this show is absolutely truly a hellhole of bizarreness
eta why do those all new cards look like they dropped out of a jj abrams star trek trailer
This whole ep I kept saying “wtf is happening????” It was fucking ridiculous lol. Did they even confirm if Charles and Chic died? Cheryl’s face when her mom said she had to sacrifice Minerva, like sis thought about it hahahaha. Stereotypical tortured writer Jughead is hilarious to me because it’s basically Cole if he never was famous. Madchen deserves better than the plots she’s given. I miss when Alice didn’t feel so dang passive.
Do it!! This is the best episode of the entire damn show.
Fantastic usage of sets, so many old characters brought back, cinematography and lighting are always beautiful but they stood out this ep since who ever directed chose different camera angles from the way they usually shoot the sets; we also got to see more of the diner, which means they're putting the money in on them. We didn't even get to the balls to wall amount of plot after plot; this is the first time the town actually feels like a town.
Riverdale has always treaded on being campy but they went all out and it's glorious. If they keep this up, they're on the fast track to becoming my favourite show. The time jump episodes have all been great except for one episode, which is unheard of by Riverdale standards.
Why is it on such a long break? Wtf even was last nights episode? "trust me! *stabs weirdly obsessed fbi bf who I'm pretty sure is secretly the garbage bag man guy*"
they're premiering a new show to air in that time slot, but i'm assuming the main reason is to have something for the summer, and to prevent another six month+ long break if they finished this season around the regular time but didn't air the next season until january again (which will presumably be the case since the cast is filming until june 1 and will get a couple months break)
