With still no word of his finishing the fantasy series that made his ass famous (the last book in ASOIAF was released in 2011), GRRM has now signed a deal to develop several television series for HBO and its streaming service, HBO Max.

These include:

- A series with a working title "10,000 Ships", about the warrior queen Nymeria, who lived 1,000 years before the events of Martin’s books;
- A SPINOFF OF A SPINOFF. I SHIT YOU NOT. This series will follow on from the upcoming 'House of Dragons' series. It will centre on Lord Corlys Velaryon, also known as the Sea Snake, and the seafaring husband of a Targaryen princess;
- a series set in the slum Flea Bottom; (WHO ASKED FOR THIS?!)
- a series inspired by the Dunk & Egg novellas;
- an animated series, because why not.

Currently being adapted for Netflix is his 1979 novelette Sandkings, with Gore Verbinski signed on as director.

CREATIVITIY IS DEAD, GRRM'S FAT LAZY GREEDY ASS KILLED IT RIP
