I'm excited to finally watch The Father; it was released in theatres last week, but is on VOD tomorrow. I don't think I'd have much interest in it if it weren't for Olivia Colman, whom I adore, but I'm really looking forward to it.

I also plan on watching Violation soon-ish, I missed it at TIFF, but my understanding from people who did see it there is that it needs a lot of trigger warnings. The trailer doesn't give much away, but it is apparently brutal.

I was shocked at Olivia's nom because, while good, her presence isn't strongly felt. Anthony, however, is the best in his category.
