Maybe an unpopular opinion but I don't really mind recastings if an actor decides to leave a show/movie. Having a character leave a show suddenly due to the actor leaving makes for so many 'out of character' moments which is worse than just looking at a different face...(looking at you Grey's Anatomy!)

Also the difference in acting ability between Gyllenhaal and Holmes in the Batman movies made me want to have them do reshoots for the first one. Kind of like what they did for George Constanza's father in Seinfeld.

I dont mind recasts depending on the character and who they end up getting recast with. Arrow refused to recast Huntress which was ridiculous given the actress was in 3-4 episodes in S1-2.
