Sticking tech references in a song is a dangerous game. Just ask these artists, whose once-cutting-edge lyrics have aged about as well as an MSN status https://t.co/3UjYqAlmZh

I was walking through Target today and saw a whole section for Tracfone minutes. Do people still buy that stuff? I had no idea.

Also if you’re the OP of the Frankie Jonas thread, you closed it for comments.

Yes. I used tracfone for my old iPhone for three years. I think they use the same towers as Verizon or some big company? No contract so they don’t report your late payments. It’s affordable way of having a cell phone so don’t hate lol

my dad (62) had a tracfone until like 3 months ago when a relative gave him their old iphone!
he never used it to talk and kept it off unless he was out and needed to call cause he forgot something or similar, so it worked for him.

Yeah we got it for her for the same reason when she fell (even though she has Life Alert!)

My 70 year old dad! They're like the only company that still sells dumbphones and he's not interested in getting a smartphone, so he still buys like 300 minutes a month.

I think quick burner phones will always be useful.

I heard they're good for using during protests. During the Dakota access pipeline protests a lot of people reported weird stuff happening to their phones, so getting a tracfone would definitely be useful for things like that.
