The Writers Guild of America handed out its awards for the best of cinema, television, and other media that you can hire a writer for. The film awards include wins for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan in Best Adapted Screenplay (a category missing a few notable contenders for the Oscar, such as Nomadland) and Promising Young Woman in Best Original Screenplay.
