considering the good press celebs would get from single-handedly paying for medical or school bills, idk why it doesn't happen except for when someone in nicki minaj's family is either in the press for rape or murder

Yes, they are cheap af. Sundance Film Festival on two occasions, my staff complained at how over the top demanding they were, rude and super cheap.

I mean Leo dined at our restaurant (he was quiet and low key) but the K's were a nightmare.

Different culture and all, plus I don't like praising the rich. But Korean celebs do a lot of charity, public donations. I know celebs who pay medical bills of their staff etc. It gets them a lot of good press, which is partly the motivation behind these donations. To set up an image.
But I guess Kardashians want the infamy

i'm not trying to praise the rich, i'm just thinking about how even if it is for public image, those needs are being met? like, obviously no one should be in that position in the first place but the US is a hellhole, but the money goes to good use?

i don't remember which group or which member, but i think one idol actually paid for a trainee's medical expenses without any public announcement. it wasn't until years later people found out. and there's one group that made some hefty donations and didn't even tell their agency. it was only when the agency found out, that it was announced - by the agency.

I remember so much of George Michael's personal contributions didn't become known until after he died and the people he gave to no longer had to keep the silence he made them promise while he was alive. He did a LOT.

Yes, it's super common. Everytime they have a tv show, they send food trucks for the cast and crew, etc etc. It's so weird how cheap western actors are lmao

By not donating, it’s how they keep their money. But you’d think they would based on the TAC write offs they get but they don’t pay taxes.

Seriously! But rich people are notoriously stingy with their money. I remember there was a study going around showing how poorer people dedicate a higher percentage of their income to charity than the rich. It's honestly gross. I cannot imagine having more money than I would be able to spend in a lifetime and not using it to help others.

when me and my mom were homeless (i was underage) all of our family who were well off or had a spare bedroom wouldnt even keep my grandmas stuff there to keep it safe but other poor people put their own living situation at risk to help us. they really just dont understand.

it's because none of them are nowhere near as rich as they claim (especially kylie)and most of them are entitled.
