With the touring industry and music festivals shut down for over a year now, we're all really missing concerts. Let's take a trip down memory lane and look at debut tours by some current and former pop queens.

I won tickets for lady gaga's The Monster Ball tour. I saw Nsync on their No Strings Attached tour. The Backstreet Boys/NKOTB tour.

My closest claim-to-fame tours were:

- Gwen Stefani (before I understood the insidious nature of cultural appropriation; she was cute and personable but fuck her tbh)
- Morrissey (first gig, excellent; second I refused to attend after the "Chinese people are subhuman" comments, so obvs I'd learned... still miss that 57 euros, tho)

omg that took me back, I used to listen to their first album all the time, and sadly I've never seen any of the pop girls live *cries in gay*

it's actually really fun seeing the pop girls later in their careers, b/c the audience is 80% gay

In researching this I realized that Destiny's Child toured with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson, in addition to several tours of their own. Matthew had those girls WORKING.

That's why it was so obvious that Beyoncé fired Matthew during her 4 era lol. The difference in promo cycle alone.

TBH i really want Normani to hire Matthew Knowles lmaooooo. She'd be on her third album by now if he was in charge.

My first concert was *nsync's first tour and destiny's child opened for them and when they performed, my mom looked at me and said "she's going to be a STAR!" in reference to Beyonce and nowadays she acts like she's the one who discovered her lmaooo she's so proud
