i saw this yesterday and it made me so sad, girls aloud meant so much to me a child. they were the first album i bought, at primary school i was in a girls aloud club with my friends. and i always felt like sarah was dealt a tough hand, she seemed so sad when she was on cbb.

the uk news has just been so fucking bleak this week, this and the nikki grahame stuff, and caroline flack's documentary tonight ugh. i need an internet break i think

I had no idea about Nikki either, I'd known of her battles with anorexia for ages but fuck me it's got this bad? ia re: needing a break, this is horrible.

I've been a bit off the grid lately and catching up on this now is just... fuck me, it's a lot and it's crushing (if anyone's Googling: the pictures are triggering and DO NOT tread lightly).

The fact that they've apparently surpassed their goal and Nikki genuinely wants help is sort of a relief, but also, she's never not wanted help and look what's happened. Just. Fuck.

I hope the fact that the public donated so much in itself helps Nikki with recovery. I hope it helps her to see how much she is loved and wanted.

I had no idea that Nikki's illness worsening until this comment. My best childhood friend got to this horrific stage about thirteen years ago and is thankfully now doing really well and channeling her energy into pole aerial fitness. She's ridiculously strong, physically and mentally, and I hope Nikki can also find peace and gain a new outlet that doesn't cause her harm.

She was hilarious on BB, I still quote "Who IS she? WHERE did you find her??" on a regular basis.
