Dumbo has its issues, but he’s so cute and I just really love elephants, so I’ve always loved it. But that “Baby Mine” scene? That’s a freaking heartbreaker, especially when you know how maternal elephants are.

Oh yeah Dumbo BROKE me as a child. I couldn’t recover for weeks. The drunken scene was traumatic too. Plus circuses make me so sad. Overall a least fave because a six year old shouldn’t be that depressed after a movie.

The scene where they throw tomatoes at Quasimodo and just the whole movie is so depressing and don't get me started on rapey Frollo.

An extended trailer of that + reading a Axholaroc short story based on The Hunchback made me really upset when I was little so I’ve actually never seen the movie. In case no one has noticed I am a very emotionally sensitive person. From your comments I think I would stand in solidarity with you!

I really don't remember the old movie but I never cared for the whole story itself so yeah, the new one isn't a movie for me either.

I love Pinocchio but my god the whole transformation with Lampwick, the poor donkey children getting stripped of their clothes and crying for their mama's, and the fucking Monstro scene? WHEW THE TRAUMA.
