I was thinking that maybe they could eliminate all the awkward banter between presenters by just having one person present each award. Also it might move things along. If there's any good that can come off out of this, maybe it will be a show that doesn't run long.

I have the most pressing need for The Muppets to host the Oscars. Like, I don't think I can shuffle off this mortal coil until I see it realized.

The new Kermit’s voice sounds so off to me.

The in memoriam should be more similar to the Grammys idk I really liked that more than what movie/tv stuff usually do.

sometimes i think people want to make award shows like extra boring. yeah maybe the banter sucks but should it be go away? a lot of the skits are lame yeah. and the montages take up a LOT of time. but idk. who wants to watch 2 hours of people just reading off winners? if that's the case make a pdf and be done with it.

I think that’s more so the tv network’s doing. they want to fill up some hours for ad revenue so tell the show producers how long they want it.

Bingo! Yahtzee!
I remember when I saw the Cannes Movie Awards once. It was a crisp HALF-HOUR. In and out, no bullshit. Fantastic. But it was on government-sponsored television, so it wasn't a profit engine like the Oscars is on network TV.

Real talk: they won't.

But good luck, thots and prairies, etc.
