What Having Covid-19 Was Like For Celebrities

This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

Have you had covid-19, ontd? What were your symptoms like (if you had any)?

No but I did fall sick in February of last year and I still wonder if it was covid

The November-March bracket is such a stressor in times of a pandemic. So many Covid symptoms collide with the usual winter illnesses, you get so paranoid.

It probably was. I was pretty sick for a week around the same time but obviously couldn’t get tested because tests were scarce then. I had lingering symptoms (insomnia, waves of inflammation, digestive upset, deep apathy, ear pain, spine and back soreness) for about 2 months. Then I felt the same symptoms to a lesser extent at the end of last year and tested positive. No one can tell me I haven’t had it twice. Probably different strains, but still. I used to run errands and such but I’m basically a hermit now and barely leave the house.

I got sick in March last year after being in a crowded immigration office and I'm still convinced it was COVID.

Same. But it was so close to the time I got my flu vaccination, that, as bad as it was, I couldn't be sure. But it was the worse I've ever felt and my chest hurt for months aftewards from the mind-shatteringly painful coughing fits I had along with everything else others have mentioned. I'll probably never know.

My mom got real sick around February last year too. Like she didn’t wanna get out of bed, which is RARE for someone like her cause she usually tricks on.

She suspects that maybe she had it but we never did find out.

A few weeks ago she did a COVID test because she thought she may have gotten it but it came back negative.

SAME. It could have been a nasty cold, but who knows.

same here.. they didn't want to test us because when all this started, they didn't do the covid test unless you had travelled to China. But all of our symptoms were similar to the covid, and we took all the known treatments for covid and got cured so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My mom is convinced I had covid around that time too.

I did have my first vaccine dose this Sunday though and have had zero side effects. I had heard that people who have had covid get more intense side effects from the get go with the first dose instead of the second but who knows if that’s true. If it is true though then I really did just have the flu.

Same thing happened to me. I slept almost like 16 hours a day for a week, and then when I was short of breath, but there were no tests by me to even check.
